A sustainable environment is the lifeblood of the economy as well as natural life. As the negative effects of global warming impact the Earth, the need for green spaces – especially in urban areas – and the subsequent importance of effective policies to ensure these areas, returned to headlines due to Environmental Protection Week, observed between June 5-11 every year.
